Nature Connection & Climbing Panel
Climbing engages us with the natural world in a way that few other activities can. As climbers, we spend time in green spaces, using our bodies to navigate cliff faces and boulder fields to solve nature’s puzzles. Led by climber, Hannah Morris, Nature Connection & Climbing Panel explores the ways in which climbing can help us to feel more connected to the natural world and develop a greater appreciation for our place in it.
Bio
Hannah Morris runs the most subscribed female-led climbing YouTube channel globally – Hannah Morris Bouldering.
Hannah began climbing over a decade ago – problem solving in beautiful locations, learning to move efficiently and pushing her comfort zone on rock had her hooked instantly. She began documenting her climbing journey 3 years ago, and has amassed an audience of over 100,000 people with informative videos and stories from her climbing adventures.
Driving the Hannah Morris Bouldering platform is a passion to encourage others to push their boundaries, connect with their communities and enjoy the benefits of being outside for their physical and mental wellbeing. Hannah is passionate about engaging climbers at all stages of their climbing journey and she hopes to encourage confidence as well as a sense of connection to movement and natural spaces.
Both online and on rock, Hannah is turning the volume up on her voice for inclusion and greater female representation in the sport with an intention that empowers others to do the same.
