Bring your favourite garms and head to the Worn Wear cabin to get your most loved wardrobe staples repaired and given a new lease of life!

As well as repairing as many items as they can across the weekend the team will also be sharing their skills through a visible mending workshop.

What is Worn Wear?

The Worn Wear initiative encourages customers to extend the lifetime of their garments.

Extending the life of our garments, through proper care and repair, is one of the most important things we can do to lower our impact on the planet and reduce the need to buy more over time — thereby avoiding the CO2 emissions, waste output, and water usage required to build it. By keeping our clothing in use just nine extra months, we can reduce related carbon, waste and water footprints by 20-30 percent each, according to the UK- based group WRAP – simply because we’re making and throwing away less.

Patagonia’s Worn Wear programme was created in 2013 to encourage people to take good care of their gear, washing and repairing as needed. Worn Wear aims to keep clothing, regardless of brand, in circulation for as long as possible. When it’s time for a replacement, Patagonia wants people to invest in something that lasts. That’s why Patagonia makes high quality, functional products and guarantees them for life.

How to bring your items to be repaired by the Worn Wear team:

All you need to do is join us at Timber Festival and drop your item off with the Worn Wear team. There are a few things to keep in mind:

  • Repairs are taken on a first-come-first-served basis and they can only take one item per person so please arrive early to avoid disappointment.
  • Please make sure all items are CLEAN and DRY
  • Your item can be made by any brand however, the team is unable to repair footwear, bags, luggage and hardgoods.
